Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

General FAQ

We are no longer able to use Paypal or Venmo as they believe our business goes against their terms and conditions. However, we now use Trustap, a verified Stripe partner, as our secure transaction platform.

Trustap is a payments platform that we partnered with in 2022 which facilitates secure and protected transactions using escrow. They also provide 24/7 customer support for all transactions and are a verified Stripe partner!

Escrow is a third-party service that ensures a buyer's money is protected by retaining funds until the purchase is received. This ensures both parties are protected from potential scams.

We collect fees for numerous reasons, but mostly to keep the website running. As we grow our user base, so do our expenses. We also collect fees as we, Jared & John, are the only two people working directly on Student Seats. If you receive a customer support email, you know it has come from one of us. If we update the website, you know it was updated by one of us. Our goal is to keep our fees as low as possible for all college students looking to go to a game. We understand the struggle and the ridiculousness of facing outrageously high fees on other ticketing websites, that is why we are striving to keep our services not only affordable, but as cheap as possible!
